The Youth League has begun practices this week.  
Here’s the practice schedule for the upcoming weeks:

Week of 8/25: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, 4:30-7:00m at Wiley Field

Week of 9/1:  Tuesday 9/2  4:30-7:00 at the Middle School Field
                         No practice Wednesday (changed 8/29)
                         Thursday 9/4 and Friday 9/5, 4:30-7:00 at Wiley Field

Week of 9/8 and beyond: Mon, Thur, and Fri 4:30-6:30 at Wiley Field

Hey, if you’d like to send a message expressing your support for a youth, middle school or high school football player (or cheerleader) in the upcoming Storm Warning 2008 SFC Football Program, now is the time to act. You can have a 20 word message ad in the program for only $10.00. See your team coordinator to email them the message and mail them the $10.

The Scarborough Middle School Football team will have an exhibition game this Saturday at Scarborough High School on the Sports Turf field against the Bonny Eagle Scots. Come out and support the defending 2 time SMYFL Gold Ball champions as they take the field for the first time after two weeks of practice. Coach Spino would like Varsity players on the field at 11:39 am and JV at 12:33pm. Kick off is at 1:15 pm with Varsity playing first.

Just a reminder to all Scarborough High football players that don’t know or forgot… this Sunday, August 17th Coach Sterling and his staff will be taking your paperwork and passing out equipment. Be at the High School Tech Center at 12:00 noon for Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors and at 2:00 pm for Freshmen.

Two-A-Days start at 8:30 am the next day for upperclassmen and on the 25th for freshmen.

Highlights for the upcoming week:

August 13th & 14th are on the turf, 4:30pm-7:00pm.
August 15th is at Bosal and begins double sessions: 7:30am-10:00am and 4:30-7:00pm.

Practices for the week beginning Aug 18th are at Bosal.  Double sessions are Aug 18th, 19th & 20th.
